The Facilitator FAQ

How to become a Facilitator3K?

To join M3K as a facilitator, you need to have attended the Management 3.0 Foundation workshop, the unFIX Foundation workshop, or the unFIX E-Learning. You need to have attended these workshops within the last two years.

You can join and subscribe via the Facilitator3K page, paying an annual fee.

The Facilitator3K subscription contains the “Origin Pack”.

What is the “Origin Pack”?

The Origin Pack contains all the Courseware, Facilitator Documentation, and Marketing Material of the following workshops:

  • Management 3.0 Foundation

  • Management 3.0 Agile Change Leadership

  • Management 3.0 Agile Co-Create Leadership

  • Management 3.0 Agile People Leadership

  • Management 3.0 Agile Team Leadership

  • Management 3.0 Agility in HR

  • Management 3.0 other workshop

  • unFIX Foundation

  • unFIX other workshop

  • Other workshop

Please note that you need to unlock the workshop before you can deliver it.

What is the “New Fundamentals” pack?

The “New Fundamentals” pack extends your portfolio as a Facilitator3K.

Based on Jurgen Appelo’s book “Human-Robot Agent”, the “New Fundamentals” brings everything for a two-day workshop about Leadership in the Age of AI. Like the Origin pack, it contains courseware, facilitator documentation, and marketing material.

Please note that you must subscribe to and pay for the “New Fundamentals” in addition to your Facilitator annual fee. The price is not defined yet, but as a Faciliator3K, you will get a discount anyway.

The “New Fundamentals” is currently in development and will be available in July.

How do I offer a private, in-company workshop?

To offer a private workshop, you need to unlock the workshop.

You must register the private workshop on our backend system, Workshop Butler, and flag it as private.

We recommend inviting external speakers to your events. They bring valuable new perspectives, and you might find some great new future teammates.

How do I offer a public workshop?

To offer a public workshop, you need to unlock the workshop.

You need to register the workshop on our backend system, Workshop Butler.
All pricing and participant registration must be administered via Workshop Butler. Once you add a workshop, it will be visible on the corresponding websites.

How do I unlock a workshop?

To unlock a workshop, you need to have attended it yourself. This can be an in-person class, an online workshop, or - if available - an e-learning course.

What fees do I need to pay?

Besides the annual fees, you need to pay event fees.
These fees depend on the ticket prices (for public workshops) or the workshop price (for private workshops).

You pay us 15% of your ticket/invoice price per workshop.
Find the actual pricing on m3k.ai/fees.

Please note that you decide which country level you sign up for, unlocking access to these markets. To deliver online workshops, you need to subscribe to Country Level B (or Country Level A).

Is the event fee per participant independent of the participant's location?

Yes, it is always based on the ticket prices.
Of course, you can sell for a different price in different regions.

What are the naming conventions for workshops?

A standard workshop has to be promoted by using the default name, e.g. Foundation Workshop, Agile Change Leadership Workshop etc. – you may use a descriptive element though. For example “Management 3.0 Foundation Workshop: Practices for Modern Managers”

What are the limits for participants and durations?

The maximum number of participants is 20 (not 21, not 26, not 80)

There is no minimum number of participants, but to deliver a great workshop experience, we propose not running sessions with fewer than 4 people.

A workshop always needs to cover at least the minimum hours given by Management 3.0 and the learning experiences that we have for each module and each of our standard workshops

You can extend a workshop by a maximum of 25% of the default duration. As an example: a Foundation Workshop, which has a minimum duration of 16 hours, can be extended up to 4 hours, e.g., if you want to add more content

Can I use recordings or videos?

You can record videos or workshops and let participants watch these recordings in between sessions to enhance your workshops. This can only be ON TOP of the minimum duration of a workshop and cannot replace any live sessions. However, these recordings must be added as additional hours in Workshop Butler. So if you schedule a Foundation Workshop, 16 hours have to be live in workshop sessions, but you can schedule up to 4 hours more to show recorded Management 3.0 materials

The recorded materials can be used for free webinars lasting a maximum of one hour or for short marketing videos.

You cannot build an e-learning course or online learning environment with any of our materials.
